After less than 3 months of little to no usage the clamp broke.

bought about a year ago. they are 48 inch clamps. The older ones are great. The new SL300 (improved) is NOT. It quickly died. We buy clamps in pairs. The other one is barely hanging on. All our older ones are still working well.
