I have used this base twice on my router table. Both times the router drifts down while in use and makes shallow cuts. When I tried to tighten the clamp both times, the clamp cracked. I think it's a poor product design.

Usually love Porter Cable but this was awful. The baseplate came misaligned and cracked. Figured I'd overlook the cracks and keep it until I realized that the baseplate wouldn't accept my Porter Cable bushings and they stopped including the centering tool. Enough!
