The 3-way diverter only lets water through in 2 of the 3 positions. Therefore, it is useless since the whole point of it was to have the option of the handheld shower only.

I bought the A112.18.1 shower/hand sprayer combo with this diverter on it. After using it for a while the diverter lever snapped off. Now it can't be used because of the broken lever.
