I enjoyed these episodes as usual. I thought that the plots were not always as clear as they might have been, but that has been a trait of all the Midsomers. I liked the portrayals of Barnaby's family, and I liked the new sidekick.

We enjoy the Midsomer Murder series I sure we have watch the whole set from start to finish at least 5 times. Midsomer Murders Series 19 part1 is great. Cast have changed but the show is still on the best. If you have seen any part of the series this one will fig right in. We are watching it slow...

As much as we like the old Barnaby, Neil Dudgeon is at least his equal. They are going overboard on the dog's cuteness.
