Perfect size for the Chihuahua I dog sit for. It's not too high at the rim, it catches scattered food %26 splashed water, %26 it doesn't move if he shoves it a bit.

This is a great food/water bowl set. It's best suited for pets between 5-15lbs strictly due to size of bowls. Mat is soft, flexible and washes up nicely as it catches tid bits of food and water.
