It was everything I have come to expect from Melissa and Doug. Bought it for my grandson and he is loving it. He has learned all of the states and is well on his way to leaning the capitals.

Excellent and fun way to learn the states' locations, names, and capitals. I would say this is most suited for kids 8-12 years old. And it is durable. Older students might like to time themselves on it.

I liked the fact that it was made out of wood and felt the pieces would not get destroyed if they were cardboard (like a regular puzzle).
