Replaced my vintage 2000 cinema display (1980x1080) with this Samsung monitor on a '07 mini computer. This UD28 upconverts just fine; image is understandably soft which is OK while I wait arrival of my new mini with 3840x2160 HDMI output. Looking forward to pictures rivaling the new 5K all-in-one...

I couldn't be happier with the purchase of this monitor! The picture is incredible, the colors amazing. It is an expensive monitor, but with the GTX 980 video card I'm now using the graphics and colors I get really impress.

everything is superb! my only concern would be to make it mountable to a wall mount-able arm or tv mount ... other than that this monitor is great for everything from movies to high dynamic content editing with design products such as solid works , adobe suites and autodesk. also great for games ...
