      I purchased this unit 4 months ago. I have watched, perhaps 10 DVD/CD's on it. A few days ago, I attempted to watch a DVD. The DVD drawer simply stopped opening. It will not open with the remote. It will not open with the manual button. Out of the blue...it just stopped working. I have tried unp...

      Got home, connected easily enough. Tried first DVD, error "unknown disc". Tried 6 other DVDs, won't read any of them. (And yes they are the proper region). Returning to store...now I remember why I had sworn off Phillips years ago

      Have had it for about 6 months until one day the drawer stopped working it would nit will not open at all!!! Its very frustrating will not recommend!!

      Right out of the box, this was just junk. The remote didn't work, and it didn't come with any of the cables for hook-up. Packing it up and returning it... Very dis-satisfied.
