The color was exactly what I expected. They remove the bolt which I don't understand but it was still in plastic just like it had a bolt board in it, this was nice compared to the maroon (rich red) which was just wadded up and threw in the box with this.

This fabric is wonderful, it came quickly, was on a cardboard bolt, wrapped in clear plastic, then shipped in a sturdy box. And the price is amazing. The reviews are correct and the rich red is very dark rich red, some would say burgundy.

I bought the soft cream color, and it does not disappoint. It's very pretty. I have used RTC 100% cotton flannel before in making my "rag" quilts. I find it works better than more expensive flannel I have purchased in fabric stores.
