Simple but soulful. Kushner takes the 23rd Psalm line by line, parsing meanings, explaining context and dispensing gentle advice. The overall message is one of hope and faith -- that G-d won't magically make things better, but will give you the strength to survive and grow. Theologically speaking...

I've read many of the books by Rabbi Kushner. I've never been disappointed. This was one of the books I selected for my 2012 daily reading program. I'd recommend this book for anyone interested in studying The Twenty-Third Psalm.
