Author thinks everything is getting better while neglecting everything that is getting worse. I think his basic premise is flawed.

Interesting question asked in this book: "Why do people feel worse while life gets better ?" It started out strong, but got too speculative (and kind of preachy) toward the end. I do like the concept of a "Gratitude Diary", though.

This year was my first step into reading poli-sci and this and the other books I read hooked me. A really good book. I'd recommend it.
