I bought this modem router to replace my existing Netgear one which seem to be having dropouts & range issues. However, it does not seem to have as much range as the old one. The setup was certainly easier.

This is a great router (I have used about seven in my life). The best thing is that one can install OpenWRT on it, which gives one full control over the device, especially if one has problems in one's home network (which I did, thanks to my no-good ISP!). I do feel that it's too expensive though.
