To download pictures you have to open the battery door, to attach the cable when you do you loose power and it won't down load to the computer.

this was such a waste. batteries die within 5 minutes regardless how many times you change them. camera really poor quality, stop working within few days. returned it right away. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY, PURE JUNK!
