Being a good map reader ( got something from pilot training) and having the Garmin makes travel easier. Being up-dateable makes travel even easier. I was given one of these Garmin Nuvis last year. I enjoyed it so much I purchased this to give as a gift. It's easy to use, the turn by turn directions are right on and the picture of the expressway exits are very helpful in determining which lane to be in. The perfect gift for the traveller!
