Prime is a fun follow-up to Brite's Liquor. To me, it reads primarily as a character and setting book (New Orleans restaurant scene), with a bit of crunchy mystery on the side.

An excellent story of love and restaurants - you can almost taste the food! Another New Orleans classic from Brite. This whole series is fantastic - and reading it now, it gives an extra insight in what has been lost since Hurricane Katrina.
