I prefer the parboiled rice to the regular white or brown rice. Until this came along, the Uncle Ben's was the only parboiled rice I would see on the shelves. This is just as good as the Uncle Ben's at a fraction of the price.

Parbroiled rice is the way to go, with rice. Long grain white rice is a distant second-best. I bought Great Value parbroiled rice because the price per pound was among the lowest of the offers that I reviewed.

Cooks perfectly every time. Also, being diabetic, white rice generally makes my sugar spike, but not this product. I much prefer it to brown rice, which always seems a bit wet when cooked according to directions.

Once you try Parboiled rice there is no going back to regular rice . My Mexican rice comes out perfect . Even the kids noticed the difference, they love my Mexican rice . The price is just right too .
