I returned this for a remote BB-8. It was intended for an 8 year old and really is meant for a much younger child. It makes noise when buttons are pushed but that is about it.

I bought this a couple of weeks ago and just love it . Nice display piece, does make cute sounds and lights up. Great present for any Star Wars fan.

I searched for a large BB-8 figure and found one on walmart.com. I ordered the Big Figs BB-8 and got it a few days later. This BB-8 has lights and sounds and his head is posable. He can also do his thumbs up with his extendable lighter arm. He comes with 3 pegs to keep him from rolling away.
