It is great that it is cordless and has led light. When i first bought it i thought it was big and heavy. Initially i found it great for the bigger jobs but after the first blade change the quality of the cut just got worse. Difficult to cut in straight line and get a square cut.

The plastic guide shroud broke while making a simple cut (previous reviewer had same problem). For the reputation of Milwaukee tools, I would have expected better durability.

I have to hold this jig saw on about a 10 degree angle to get a straight cut. I sent it back for a warrantee repair, and it still does the same thing. It seem the mechanism that holds the blade in is not accurate and keeps the blade tilted. The blade also jumps out of the roller guide very often.

Apart from the cons mentioned above, the item looks powerful & could be useful if my requirements didn't include straight cut. I have bought this unit to replace another unit from another cheaper brand for reasons of not cutting straight. What a bummer...
