The screw heads are too small & go right through the upright without attaching. Plastic lags come out easily when you screw into them so they do not remain in the wall.

Of the 6 screws used to put the rail up on a 2 x 6 ledger board, only one would go even close to all the way in (even though I drilled 1/8" pilot holes). I ended up using drywall screws, which went in like a charm.

I have used drywall anchors a million times in my life, however i have never seen these butterfly ones before. how are these installed using the pushpin to mark your hole I assume, but how do you get the anchor in the wall without cracking it? please provide direction or video. thank you
