Temperatures were 32 to 36 degrees and with no heat, this blanket reflected the cold away from me and reflected my body heat towards me. Only two wool blankets needed then the emergency blanket. Excellent piece of equipment to carry in vehicle, camping, and hiking.

they are tissue thin and tear ..very.. easily. best to put one -under- and one -over- a person to hold in much heat ---a sleeping bag type style with 1 side and 1 bottom sewn seam would be more effective to slip into for cold protection but...too flimsy to sew. would make a good sun reflector if ...
