I really enjoyed this series when it was first on TV several years ago, but this was the first opportunity I have had to purchase it. Great stories, excellent actors, much appreciated.

Many decades ago, I watched the Dorothy Sayers series on "Masterpiece Theatre." I loved the characters (especially Lord Peter Wimsey). I bought as many Sayers books as I could find. And now I have a beautiful collection of the stories in the DVD set I have purchased. I am happy.

If your a fan of the Poirot series, and love the lush 1930's style mysteries, then you would probably love this series. Superb acting, great mysteries, done very, very, well.

Theee mysteries to tantalize your mystery tastebuds are found in this set of Sayers mysteries. The portrayals of Harriet Vane and Lord Peter Wimsey are exceedingly well done. A must for any mystery fan!
