I bought this rod to do some shore fishing in Mexico and wanted a rod that would fit in my luggage. This rod was great. Easily detected the lightest hits and handled a 20lb ray like a boss.

I bought this about a month ago, and very pleased with the performance, I'm using 12 pound fluorocarbon on it, it cast great and the retrieval is nice and smooth, better than one of my comparable pfluegers,
