I bought the scale 6 months ago and it's been stored in my tackle bag that never gets wet. I used it one time after I bought it and it worked fine. I pulled it out a few days ago and it won't power up. I checked the battery voltageand they read 4 volts. Only a half a volt lower than new batteries.

USED IT 3 TIMES IN 5 MONTHS AND HAD TO REPLACE THE BATTERIES EACH TIME. JUDGING FROM BERKLEY SERVICE AND PREVIOUS REVIEWS, LOOKS LIKE WRITE I AND BERKLEY OFF AS A BAD EXPERIENCE. DONT DO THAT OFTEN.

Waste of money. After 3 times replacing batteries, dump it and never buy Berkley.
