I have been trying to find long rods that flip the bill and are effective. This rod is perfect! I really enjoy the feel, backbone and soft tip. Last year I hooked into a 55”+ Muskie with 3lb test Micro Ice line and almost pulled off the miracle. I battled that fish for over 10 minutes!

I fish a large body water where boats are not allowed, with this rod and 6lb test Trilene I can cast almost 100 yards. This enables me to reach the edges of the islands that dot the reservoir where not to many people fish. I replaced the bottom 2 guides with larger ones for even more distance.
