I purchased the 5'6' version of the amp for an ultralight combo. This rod is ultra sensitive and durable. I can definitely tell the difference between an obstacle in the water and a biting fish. This rod is a great buy.

I got it for Easter and I have caught many largemouth bass and it is by far my favorite fishing rod I have ever used.It is smooth reeling but the casting could be better:(.

Can't beat the price, this rod is tough, durable and feels great. I have high dollar rods and the Berkley Amp rod is my favorite. I have it had a couple years and caught a lot of fish on it.

I fish mainly bass as a hobby and local tournament, have maybe 6-8 of these rods and always been very happy with the performance. Light, sensitive feel.... yet reliable and durable. Wish they weren't getting so hard to find in stores.
