It is just like they always have been since i was a kid. Does its job! The four quart is a great size. I dont believe my one from the 80's held that much. Great canteen, Great price

Memories of childhood. I love these canteens because they hold a good quantity, have a sturdy strap and that cover can be wet down and held against the lower back to help regulate body temperature.
