I give the clock 5 stars. only. works perfect on batteries. the clock says do not use batteries. and adaptor at the same time. after plugging it in. wait 6 min. before the second hand moved. after 9 hours it stopped. power adaptor lost power. junk. hard to find a 1.5 v 100ma adaptor anywhere.
