It's nice that they shut the vacuum off by the BEATER bar when the unit is parked, this takes full advantage of using the wand. This vacuum works better than any other vacuum I have owned to pick up pet hair and dirt. I have a long haired collie mix that is indoors and other vacuums get clogged with hair but not the Dyson Animal. Having on board attachements also makes cleaning a breeze!
