I like the way this book explained the circumstances leading up to the Revolutionary War. I was worried about how to approach such weighty issues with my 6-yr-old, who had a presentation due on Washington, and I found this book quite helpful.

I didn't like this book because the illustrations weren't very nice and the writing didn't have a good flow. The illustrations in the book were half actual photos of George Washington and the other half were comic illustrations. Having both type of images in the book made it a little hard to take...
