wonderful story. Dumas was a great writer. Also, the length is good because I didn't want to stop reading so I enjoyed that it was a long one.

I did not realize that this book was abridged until after I was into the second chapter, but since there are notes throughout the book, I don't think I missed too much of the story. This is my first Barnes & Noble Classics book but hopefully I will buy several more. This is such an exciting story...

Good, but an abridged version. I wish it wasn't. It didn't say anywhere on the outside that it was abridged, and when I cracked it open and noticed I was quite upset.
