I've used this type of mount before and it works great. I also think it is much nicer looking than the cheap plastic covers that you can get. Easy to put together and hang.

it needs pilot holes for the brass nails they are hard to hammer in without them other than that it is pretty good

The kit came like promised, but the plaque had a few minor dings which scratched the finish color off. Also, pilot holes NEED to be drilled before the nails get hammered in. The directions said to "tap nails into place" (no pilot holes) as if it should easily be done. It wasn't. I had one nail br...
