This is a great blanket. It's not heavy, but it's heavy duty and durable. It's large enough to use for a variety of things. I keep it in the back of my brand new SUV so that my car stays clean and nothing inside gets dirty or damaged inside.

Very durable. Easy to fold up. Easy to maneuver and fold up. Not too thick or thin where it will take up too much room when you're done with it and store it away.

So! We're a military family, and we move every 3-5 years. We've moved 3 times now and are coming up on a fourth move. This time we have a large bird and ferret cage that we're taking with us in a uhaul trailer, and we were real worried about how to keep them safe. I saw this blanket up for grabs ...

This blanket worked out great for our recent move. We were able to utilize this for moving larger, heavier items.. we were worried about scratching when placing heavy boxes on top of the furniture in the moving truck but it kept the furniture under the boxes from getting scratched or damaged.

This works just fine for what it is. It's lightweight. Helpful to not have to care about messing up a regular sheet or blanket. It's a bit of a stretch to call it "fabric"... the blue outside reminds me a bit of what the reusable shopping bags are made out of, but fluffier because of the padding ...
