This has much more suction than my former, older model. New one is more expensive but I wanted something that worked well so I didn't have to replace it. I really love it! I'm impressed that when I used it to pick up crumbs, on carpet, that it left a suction path like an upright.

Works great! It's louder than our old B%26D hand held vacuum, but it also has more features and suction. The ease of charging the unit and the filter being washable are bonuses!

As mentioned by others the Dustbuster is a bit wobbly on the base charger. That would be my only complaint and its not even that bad. The suction rocks!!! Dog hair is a breeze to suck up. Easy to clean filter and so light weight that my 2 yr old can use it. Overall, awesome for the price!!!

I replaced my older dustbuster for this new one with the Lithium Ion battery. It's definitely worth the extra money!
