This has got to be the worst excuse for a tower fan I have ever seen. It can't be tightened to the base so it wobbles terribly. If the fan is set to oscillate on the highest speed it can fall over. I bought this fan about a month ago and from the minute I plugged it in I disliked it. All three settings seem the same speed and the highest is equivalent to a paper fanning me down. If it wasn't such a hassle to send back and return it I would.

This fan outputs little to NO breeze and when it does, the pattern is irregular meaning only the top 12 inches of the grill is producing air flow. When it does produce breeze you lose it standing 2 feet away. It would be hard to manufacture a more pathetic device. Avoid this item.

I had a hand me down tower that had a broken pedestal but still performed well so I bought the exact fan only u updated lighter but still reliable will make Holmes fan products my first choice with ventalation and cooling needs.
