I got this to add a couple USB 3.0 ports to the back of my computer, since I only have 2 on my machine. The only bad thing about this card is that the box was open upon receipt of the product, the item pictured on the box and the item in the box didn't match at all, and the drivers didn't appear ...

Does not work. Computer recognized it but it did not recognize devices plugged it. My guess is it needed power from power supply and mine did not have the proper connections. I have one installed that gets it power from the motherboard and was looking for a second one.

Sometimes the drives I have plugged into the card disconnect and reconnect without warning. This has never happened with these drives on other USB 2 or USB 3 ports on different PCs. I bought the extended warranty (it was only $2) so I'll be calling them about the issue.
