South bend clamp on rod holder

They look and seem well made. Not as flimsy as you'd think. Haven't gotten to use them yet. They should do well when trolling for trout.

It's hard to find a rod holder that can easily be clamped onto the side of an aluminum rowboat we use for fishing. I usually do lake fishing and mostly catch pan fish or small bass. This rod holder is very sufficient for that purpose.

I modified it by adding some washers and bending the rod holder around so the rod would rest up at a higher angle. Otherwise it would rest parallel to the water. I got four of them for under twenty bucks and they were easy to move around the boat to whatever place I wanted. Can't beat the price a...
