My wife purchased the President Rod/Reel combo from the local Academy for an anniversary present. I never tried a Pfueger before and I'm very happy with this combo, especially the reel. First day out and the speck were biting! This 75/10 pulled everything my rig could draw and so far no problems.

This is the best underspin reel by far. It is rare to have a reel in this class that your kids can use easily and yet is serious enough for you to use also.
