We have had the dual fuel laterns in the past, but the propane is so much easier. Turn the knob press the button and you are good to go. Even my wife can light it.

Lights easily with piezo sparker. Save your fuel and run it on a click or two below full, still gives off plenty of light, cuz it's thirsty on high. Im not sure if this lantern is still made in the USA. Would like to have one of these Northstars that runs on white gas or auto gas.
