This vest fits snug yet lets some air flow from the sides. That being said, you wilI still sweat if paddling hard on a warm day. Ilike the two pockets on the front for holding items i need. Seems well made.

I wanted a life vest that zipped up instead of 3 or 4 buckles. It still has one buckle but it's not a deal breaker for me. Stearns is a very good brand that you can trust. This is a quality vest that feels comfortable to wear, I am very satisfied with purchase.
