I've been a loyal Turbotax Deluxe customer since 1996, with only occasional minor gripes about the software functionality. But, this latest move to de-content the product (removing Schedule D, specifically, for me) is a deal-breaker. What a huge corporate blunder. I'm changing to H&R Block.

Could not complete return with this edition of Turbo Tax. Unfortunately it has been changed (not for the better) since last year. Ended up going online and using a different company to do return...Turbo Tax wanted me to upgrade and pay another $40.00 to finish using their program.

I have used TurboTax for several years, and it has been an excellent way to prepare Federal and state income tax returns without having to try to read and understand all the IRS regulations. The product is on the expensive side, but by careful watching specials, a significant discount can be found.
