I already had one for my phone. It gives you extra security. It has a strap that makes it easy to carry. I still use a zippered case, which I know is not necessary, but if I drop the IPad with the case on, I will not have to worry about a cracked screen.

This is a great case for protecting expensive gadgets Was a little hard to snap together It looks like the screen saver is built in but is not so you probably want to get a good one to have total protection
