The stakes fit into the bottom of the steel tube perfectly but the extension on the lights is much too large to fit the top of the tube. Impossible! Returning but may reorder in hopes of getting an ensemble that fits together as it should because I do like the style of these lights.

These lights are tiny, about 12" including the spike. The light system only lasts about 2 hours after turning on. The nicad battery is only 600ma.
