We always use base plate when we play with LEGO. It is really nice when we can build LEGO city an keep brick contractions in place. I wish there would be available bigger plates and more color options. :)

This baseplate will really help keep things together for the young builder. It is much larger then it looks in the picture. Only because Duplo blocks are big themselves. Bricks connect and disconnect with ease, great for small hands.

Works well. It folds when my 3 year old picks it up to move it, but it works. Good place to stack blocks on.
