Works great I wish I could figure out if you put them in early or later on during the process. It does however add the taste you expect from hickory chunks.

Nice chunks of wood for a very reasonable price. Not the prettiest pieces of wood but I am using it to make ribs not furniture. There are various sizes of chunks in the bag which I like for different cooks. I need a lot more wood for a whole chicken than I do for skinless boneless chicken breast...

Hickory is another great wood from weber. The quality of the wood is unmatch with the other's available.

I received my order within the stated timeframe. The wood appears to be Hickory and they are mostly chunks and some Hickory bark & debris; all quite useful in my Weber smoker/grill.

I bought this as well as some other kinds of wood chunks. I put them with my charcoal to make my grill a smoker as well. They work well.
