Was very disappointed it did not come with the battery or charger. I even checked the description and specifications and no where did it say battery and charger sold separately. Very unhappy returning it right away cause battery itself cost more than weed eater itself.

I returned this as no battery or charger. Found a better value at Walmart online for a Powersmart 18V same features with battery and charger. Price near the same. Byw if i kept this and had to buy charger amd battery would have been over 100. Easy.

it works, but unless you buy a rapid charger+two batteries, you'll be on downtime quick.
