I had a Weber Summit Gold D for 15 years and decided it was time to replace it. I am very happy with Genesis II LX model. The Genesis has a much larger cooking area than my old Summit Gold D which has come in handy several times already.

When it comes to grills, there is Weber, then everybody else. A big deal is the range of available temperature valve adjustment. Other grills usually have less then 15 seconds on a clock dial. I purchased this Grill about a month ago and it is perfectly sized for large amounts of food. The heating elements provide very even heat across the entire surface. I also purchased the iGrill 3 accessory and that feature only makes the grilling experience even better.
