In order to make the world greatest mashed potatoes, my family & I have always used Carnation evaporated milk to make it silky smooth to wear just the smell makes your mouth water. I wouldn't use any other brand!

Useful for recipes--ewuivalent to about 2/3 cup--a very common measure. My ladyfriend liked box mashed potatoes better with this, too--enhance flavor. Guys may invoke the steel cans for their pegboards, etc.
