I've purchased 2 other Black and Decker trimmers, and they both overheated while trying to do a heavy load. I read that this one can handle tough jobs, and it's true. Comes with battery and it charges in a half day. Also, less cumbersome without electric cord.

I have a large farm but not able to easily use a gas trimmer, I find them too hard to start. I tried a cordless Ryobi and it was great but I found it too heavy. At my age the weight is an issue. This trimmer is perfect! Easy to pack around! One downside is battery time is not very long... upside...

EXCELLENT choice to replace my gas/oil trimmer. Relative showed me his. Lightweight, compact, and quiet!!! Have a bad back. This is so light, it's just great. Replacement spools are very affordable and easy to replace. Should have done this long ago.
