My family and I love this chocolate cake. It is moist and rich. It only makes one layer, but I have a heart-shaped pan that I used to make a sweet treat for my husband on Valentine's Day.

Love this Ghirardelli cake mix. The double chocolate is my favorite, but like the dark chocolate almost as much. For a mix, you can't go wrong. I serve with fresh whipped cream or I make the ganache. Getting very hard to find, hope they don't discontinue it.

Both the Dark and Double Chocolate Cake Mixes make delicious single layer cakes. I usually make the ganache frosting -- you need your own ingredients for that. All easy to make.
