I read in here where someone had a hard time with the 3M adhesive.... I have bought 4 of these now, it is the only system I will buy. The adhesive has worked flawlessly for me on all surfaces I have mounted it on up to this point. I do use the alcohol pad they supply you with to clean the surface

I've used the Steelers to hold my phone for 5 years now. It's stable, secure and adjusts easily for a perfect angle. I mounted the Ball to my dash 5 years ago… love it.
